At Cerence AI, we believe
social, environmental, and corporate
responsibility are all connected
Mobility. Mapping the road ahead. Creating unique, moving experiences. That’s Cerence AI. Building a sustainable, inclusive, and ethical world - that’s Cerence AI, too. Soon after Cerence AI's start in 2019, the Cerence AI Board and executive leaders developed a strategy to assess and implement policies and practices related to corporate governance, ethics, sustainability, data privacy and security, human rights, supply chain, and transparency. At Cerence AI, we believe we have a responsibility to make our operations more efficient and sustainable, to advance diversity and inclusion, and to deliver trustworthy technology. These values form the foundation for meaningful environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices at Cerence AI.
Our commitment to ESG is embedded throughout the company, from our Board of Directors and senior leadership to our employees, and through our supply chain. We are taking actions that honor these values - our affinity groups reflect our interests and our diversity; our waste management practices reduce harmful waste; our employees can volunteer their time to help organizations close to their hearts through our volunteer program. We recognize that implementing corporate responsibility within Cerence AI will require us to continually assess, learn, and improve our process. In the documents below, we expand on Cerence AI’s approach to ESG and the current initiatives and policies we have developed and implemented in support of that strategy.
